Fortic Combination Units

Fortic combination units comprise a cold water cistern and hot water cylinder into a single unit of all copper construction. There are two main factors to take into account

1. The storage volume required to meet peak demand. Typical hot water demand (litres of hot water at 60oC.)
2. How quickly can the energy source reheat the water. With gas or oil boilers fast recovery cylinders such as Ultracal, can help you to achieve quicker reheats and reduce the amount of water that needs to be stored. When off-peak electricty (Economy 7/10) is used for water heating it is most economical to heat the total contents of the cylinder overnight. This reduces the need to use immersion heaters boost periods during the day when electricity is more expensive. super 7 cylinders, which meet the Maxistore specifications are recommended for all electric applications.
