Kernel is a compact, factory-built and tested plumbing unit designed to provide easy on-site installation.
It combines a pre-plumbed cold water storage tank (227 litres) with a copper hot water cylinder manufactured to BS1566 and
fully compliant with current Byelaws.
Kernel is available in direct, indirect and solar models with pump facility, if required, in 2 and 3-bar
options. Kernel can also be manufactured to Maxistore specification (Super Seven model)
- Primary systems (indirect only): Suitable for fully pumped circulation and sealed primary systems operating at up to 3.5 bar. Not suitable for gravity circulation.
- Insulation: Single thickness of environmentally friendly CFC-free urethane foam lagging as standard. Super Seven models - double thickness of environmentally friendly CFC-free urethane foam lagging as standard.
- Range of capacities: From 117 to 210 litres (hot water). 227 litres (cold water storage).
- Guarantee: 2 years against manufacturing defects.
